Bouncing the foot at an Arab.

Here's the test: if you think the remarks in the centre column are reasonable, tick(check) their left hand buttons. But if you think that they are not - in terms of the Gulf - use the right hand buttons.

I think this is a fair question/remark.

Remark/Question

I think this displays ignorance of Gulf norms.

1. ‘We never get anyone in the Gulf office on a Friday - why is that?'

2. 'Gulf Arabs are all the same, aren’t they?’

3. 'George is just the man to send. He's got lots of patience'

4. 'Abdullah, could we move the time of next month's meeting from 11.00 am to 11.20 am?’

5. 'But what is the Requirement? We must have a Definition!'

6. 'They have had our proposal for over three years. They could still be interested.'

7. 'We'll pack for hot weather only, of course.'

8. 'We must have an answer before the 22nd.'

9. 'Are there any decent hotels out there?'

10. 'But we met the Head of the Department, surely; why couldn't he give us a clear answer?'

11. 'We'll arrive on Sunday night so that we'll have the whole week with you.'

12.. 'Why didn't you warn us that all your telephone numbers were to change yesterday?'

13. 'What do you mean you don't know the dates of the official holidays? Doesn't one of them start in less than a week?'

14. 'They need us.'

15. 'We call him Mr Talal; we don't know him well enough to use his first name yet.'

When you press the 'Submit' button, a results page will be prepared for you.
You will not be placed on any lists.
